Adding a Slime2 Chat Widget with Pluralmind Support

Slime2 supports Pluralmind out-of-the-box, and it's even enabled by default. All you actually need to do is set up a Slime2 Chat Box, and proxied messages will just work~!

We also have a video tutorial that goes through all the steps.

Slime2 Chat Widget Setup

  1. Download and install Slime2.
  2. Open Slime2, and go to the pink Accounts tab.
  3. Click Add Account, and choose Read Account. Follow the prompts to connect your Twitch account, and hit Save when you're done.
  4. Go to the green Widgets tab.
  5. Click on a blank slime, then choose Install New Widget, and Chat Box to create a new chat widget.
  6. In the top-right, click Overlay URL and then click the green Copy button.
  7. In OBS, add a new Browser Source to your scene. It'll ask for a name, feel free to call it something like Slime2.
  8. Clear out the existing URL and paste in the one you copied from Slime2. Click OK to finish adding the widget. Don't worry if it's small at first, you can always resize it.

That's it, you now have an on-stream chat widget with Pluralmind support!

You can also go back to Slime2 to customize the chat widget's styling, and change a bunch of other settings!
